Never disappointed. The food is consistently good, I get an iced mocha every time and it's fantastic. So glad they opened and so close to my home.
Update!!! I keep coming here and it keeps being fantastic. Sometimes on the weekends it gets pretty crazy, so showing up first thing after they open is key. Either way, the food and employees are great. Don't let the negative comments sway you. This is my first time coming here, as I feel committed to the downtown location. I must say, I was impressed. Great space, super friendly people, quick service and the food was great! The bar area is perfect for a single feller, but is big enough to sit a few full parties. I am happy this space is finally filled with something other than a trashy bar. My only feedback would be that the hashbrowns in the Papas need to be cooked longer, but that's something I will ask for next time. Anyway, if you haven't been here, you need to check it out.
My husband and I had a wonderful meal at Doug's dinner. He had the chicken fried chicken and everything was amazing. You could taste the homemade in the biscuit and gravy. I had the spicy Ruben and it was amazing. My husband doesn't even like Rubens but he said he would definitely eat their Ruben. Kaylee our waitress was amazing. We enjoyed getting to visit with her. What an asset she is to their business. Also the Ghost Mango Margarita was bomb. Thank you Kaylee for your suggestion. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.
I ordered the crepes mango and strawberry, and both were very delicious, and the hostess was very nice as well as my server. Very friendly atmosphere!!
I really like what they did with the space! The service was fantastic, the waiter was super friendly and helpful. The food was really good and the prices were quite fair. I had the Sharon omelet, and it was delicious and came with 2 sides, I chose hash browns and a griddle biscuit. The biscuit is huge and comes with homemade jam. The hash browns were really nice, too. I'm glad this place is so close to home. We will definitely be back.
The food was delicious!!! Our server, Adrian, was very good. He attended to our wants and needs before we could even ask. His dedication to Doug's Diner was second-to-none. The great food and quality service has brought us back time and time again.

Abraham was an exceptional manager/waiter. He was friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond what normal manager/waiter would do. We loved the food at Doug’s. We had the omelettes, pancakes, and a Haider Burger. They were all excellent. We really loved the stuffed tots. We liked those the most. We will definitely be back!
